I commend Derrick on addressing/tackling this very broad and sometimes overwhelming topic. It's an important topic for anyone seeking truth. That being said, I was raised by peppers, and this is what I would recommend with anyone getting started or desiring to begin this journey. The most important thing is making sure your body or temple is ready. I would recommend anyone interested in this topic to first realize when you start down this path it will be a years long journey and that's okay. Breathe, relax, and start with your own body/temple to get you in the right mindset. How healthy are you? Are you metabolically flexible? A good book to get you started, oddly enough, that I would recommend is the book "Fast, Feast, Repeat by Gin Stephens". Hit the reset button on what you're consuming food wise, then it helps you analyze the food you're consuming in your eating window. Is it window worthy? Unfortunately Americans and the standard American diet don't realize that we are being programmed to a certain extent by what we eat. If you can get yourself to intermittent fasting, you then can analyze your food choices. You will then have the energy to tackle more ambitious projects like growing your own food or picking better food choices.

Great advice! This whole effort is holistic so each week we will go deeper into the process, including taking care of your mind and heart.

Listened to the podcast. I actually couldn't go to the farmers market this week because it's closed for the season. However I've been going almost every week this summer. The Hutterite farmers have really good produce and eggs, and they're almost the same as grocery store prices.

Thank you, Derrick. I planted a potato that was growing on my counter and got my groceries from the farmers nearby. I'm talking to everyone about Exit and Build, thanks again!
