To describe Palestinians as "pampered" because they receive more money in aid than usual is not helpful or really prove anything. Throwing money at problems is a favorite tool of politicians and other organizations who seek influence and/or excuses. I really didn't like the question or the response. Seemed like a missed opportunity. Although I do like Derrick and appreciate his work.
I am endlessly amazed at the level of obsession people have over a candidate who wants to end the ongoing genocide in the US having a cognitive bias regarding a situation in a foreign country over which he has no control. You are aware 800 people a day die of poverty in the US, right? That it's the fourth leading cause of death?
There is a valid question re his statements regarding the leaders of the Palestinians stealing the funds donated to the Palestinians. I would be interested to learn more about that--if it is true or not.
