This essay was originally published in Reflections on Anarchy & Spirituality, book 1 of The Conscious Resistance Trilogy. We are republishing it now to share more of the perspective held by The Conscious Resistance Network. Modern culture is defined by the experience of the five sense world. Experiences we can physically quantify and measure set the parameters of reality. Without a doubt, there are phenomena that can be observed and proven by the five senses. Also, there are concepts in this world that are objective. Still, this does not necessarily mean that everyone shares one uniform consensus on the nature of reality.
These days I find it hard to give myself a label regarding this topic. I grew up in the Christian church, but for a variety of reasons eventually found myself not believing what the church taught. Then I labelled myself an agnostic. Now after seeing all of the covid persecution, and seeing that persecution line up against Christians as well (but not other religions), I find myself exploring Christianity again. So what am I? An agnostic Christian? Seems to be an oxymoron.
